77Joseph Lawrence "Joe" De Costa Jr., 85, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a retired heavy equipment operator at Yamada & Sons Co., Hamakua Sugar Co. and Willocks Construction Co., and owner of Joe's Bulldozing Service, died at home. He was born in Pahala, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Gordon and Leroy, daughters Debbie W. Yuen and Charna Ontiveros, brother Raymond, sisters Lorraine Gonsalves and Frances Kirkland, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home, Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Burial at noon at Homelani Memorial Park and Cemetery.
