72Valerie Anne Pohaiamepumehanaakealoha Meli, 45, of Honolulu, a second counselor at the Honolulu Hawaii Stake Relief Society Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died in the Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Maikolo, sons Siosaia and Alfred "Pono," daughters Sisilia and Amelia, mother Amelia Akau, brothers Alfred "Nicky" and Stephen "Happy" Akau, and sister Claire Manutai. Visitation: 6 p.m. Sunday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kaimuki LDS Chapel, 4847 Kilauea Ave. Services: 7 p.m. Graveside services: 2:15 p.m. Monday at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
