Kazuto "Kazu" Ikeda, 84, of Kailua, a retired meat cutter at the Navy commissary, retired city groundskeeper and an Army veteran, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in North Kona. He is survived by wife Hideko; daughters Gloria Kaneshiro-McCulloch, Karen Kaneshiro-Ray, Phylis Wooten, Muriel and Justine Ikeda, and Theresa Allen; brother Yoshiaki; sisters Kay Sui-Fook and Chieko Walker; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
