79Patricia Joan Berkey Hackett, 82, of Kihei, Maui, formerly of Haiku, Maui, and La Honda, Calif., a retired San Francisco State University music professor, pianist and author, died. She was born in Fargo, N.D. She is survived by husband James W. and brother Thomas Berkey. Visitation: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ballard Family Mortuary.
