JEAN PARRISH TERAMOTOJEAN PARRISH TERAMOTO Jean Parrish Teramoto, 86, of Saul Place, Honolulu for many years, and most recently of the North Shore of Oahu, passed away on Sunday, July 06, 2014. She was born in Ida Grove, Iowa, grew up on a farm in Nebraska and graduated from San Dieguito Union High School in Encinitas, California. After graduation in 1945, she came to Honolulu on a vacation and decided to make Hawaii her home. Jean met her husband Takashi while working for his family business, Pin-Hi Sundries, in Kapahulu. Over the years she and her husband were well-liked property managers for Punahou-Wilder and Punahala condominiums. She also worked in the retail field at Liberty House and the gift shop at The Kahala Hilton. She had a wonderful way with people and always went out of her way for others. She was a wonderful cook and baker and will be remembered fondly by those who were the recipients of her many treats. She is survived by her husband Takashi "Taka", daughter Kathy (Mark) Robinson, her grandchildren Ian & Aya, her sisters, Helen Burton of Harrisonville, Missouri, Carol Davis of Santa Fe Springs, California, and brother Allen "Bud" Parrish of Hemet, California.
