MARY GENEVIEVE KEHAULANI LING Mary Genevieve Kehaulani Ling, passed away peacefully in Everett, WA on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Born in Honolulu Hawaii in 1938, "Aunty Ke" to most who knew her, was the 2nd eldest of 13 Children. Mary worked for Hawaii Medical Service Association for 10 years. In 1971 Mary, husband Willard and their family moved to Japan. She built a new family by staying active in the Hawaiian Club. This ensured that her family could stay connected to their culture. After Japan, they settled in Oak Harbor, WA in 1977. During her 37 years living in Oak Harbor, she worked at two naval hospitals: NAS Whidbey and Bremerton. Mary is survived by her husband Willard, children, Kina, Stuart and Napua, and grand- children, Owen, Pryor and Parker. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Conrad Lum, Landis Lum, Jr., Heila Pahukula, Elaine Lum, Richard Lum, Bernadette Lum, Peter Lum, Lillian Lum and Carol Andrade. She was preceded in death by siblings Robert Lum, Gerald Lum, and Eloise Lum. Rite of Interment for Mary will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, HI. Arrangements are entrusted to Wallin Funeral Home & Cremation, LLC, Oak Harbor, WA.
