Fusao Uchiyama, 95, of Honolulu, a retired state Department of Education Honolulu District curriculum specialist, former teacher and principal, and an Army veteran who served in the Military Intelligence Service in World War II, will be remembered in private services. He died in Hawaii Kai Assisted Living. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by son David, daughter Judith Kawakami, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
