Daniel Aguado FernandezDANIEL AGUADO FERNANDEZ In loving memory of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother, Daniel Aguado Fernandez, 74, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born on September 11, 1940 in the Philippines, preceeded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Lorraine. He is survived by his four sons, Brian (Cecil), Keith, Steven (Mary), Kenneth (Blanch) and three daughters, Shirley Ariz (David), Charlene Verne (Steven) and Lisa Leopold (deceased); grandchildren, Lauren, Kristen, Toeupu, Ericka, Christopher, Jantzen, Elizabeth, Danelle, Jared, Christian, Daniel, Keilani, Rudy; great- grandchildren, Tyler, Beckham, Steven, Kayla; brother, Jake Fernandez and sister, Corazon Savet. Daniel was a career lawman and business owner. He received his formal education in the United States where he earned his degrees. He served with the Honolulu Police Department (H.P.D.) prior to his appointment as a Federal Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). Much of his work was within the counter-intelligence community which resulted in the preservation of American lives and national security. After his retirement, he continued with various business projects and was also appointed as the Sheriff for the State of Hawaii by then Governor Ben Cayetano. He loved golfing, spending time with family, watching military movies, global news, and current events. He loved the companionship of his beloved dog, Jiro. Although we will all miss him dearly, he is at home in heaven with God, his wife, Lorraine and his daughter, Lisa. Visitation at 11:00am and Mass at 12:00pm on Thursday, March 5th at Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 South Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Interment immediately following at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
