73Stephen Apu Yap Jr., 54, of Honolulu, a University of Hawaii-West Oahu student, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born on Maui. He is survived by sons Stephen A. III and Charles, daughter Shona Cobb, brothers George Newbeck and Earl Harper, sisters Pearl J. Lara and Ginger Ronquillio, and six grandchildren.
