Richard Iwao Kurata, 88, of Honolulu, a retired bookkeeper for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1260 and an Army veteran, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by brothers Andrew and Herbert, and sister Jean Ikenaga. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
