Alejo Babauta Meno
Feb. 23, 2015 Alejo Babauta "Long" Meno, 76, of Pahoehoe, Hawaii, a retired Army sergeant first class and a retired hardware department sales manager for Trojan Lumber Co., died in Las Vegas. He was born in Talafofo, Guam. He is survived by wife Lavender; sons Alejo and Kevin Meno, and Matthew, Aaron and Bruce Duenes; daughters Coralee Meno, Renee Mujica, Merribeth Iona and Johnnette Manoha; hanai son Brian Liborio; hanai daughter Sammieleine Shafer; sisters Concepta Meno and Estella Gofigan; hanai sisters Melva Estoy, Nancy Haalilio, Vickie Mamac and Aloha Ruddle; hanai brothers Solomon Alani and Robert Naihe; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. March 14 at Lanakila Congregational Church, Kainaliu. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery, Kailua-Kona. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
