73Clement "Fatso" Kaniaupio, 65, of Waimanalo, a retired Love's Bakery chief mechanical engineer, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Carter Spencer and Chris and Herbert III Kaniaupio; daughter Sandralynn "Sela" Naea; numerous hanai children; brother Earl Sr.; sisters Maylene Wong and Darlene Kipi; hanai brother Victor Higa; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, in the Chapel of the Flowers. Services: 6:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Scattering of ashes at noon Saturday at Alan Davis Beach Park. Aloha attire. Lei and loose flowers welcome.
