$nameSUE ELLEN KAMAKANI KAI'ILIALOHA KETNER CULLEN ORIAN With great sadness we share the unexpected passing on February 13, 2015 of our beloved Omma, Sue Ellen Kamakanikai'ilialoha Ketner Cullen Orian, of Sunset Beach, HI. Born in Jacksonville, Illinois, to Charles & Doris Ketner. She moved to Hawai'i in the early 1960's and never left. She won the 1962 Tandem Division of the Makaha Int'l Surfing Championship with "Nappy" Napoleon, received her Early Education degree from BYU and taught for 22 years at La'ie Elementary. She was a Walmart Teacher of the Year. Omma will be remembered for her gentle manner, huge heart and unending capacity to love without judgment, her love of family, Team Edward and The Twilight Saga. She loved us All Much, and was always All Smiles, just like Eli. We are All Heartbroken. Survived by husband Albert Orian, Sister Sally Hogan, Brother David Ketner, Daughters Kalikolehua Orian & Kanoelani Wood, Sons Keith "Kalani", Kyle & Kip Orian, & Karrie (Kip's wife) who she considered a daughter, 15 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. "No measure of time with you will be long enough, but we'll start with forever." (Twilight: Breaking Dawn). A Celebration of Omma's Life will be held on Saturday, March 21st.
