Alfred Ainoa Espinda Jr., also known as “Eki” and “Coach,” 78, of Kaneohe, a retired Farrington High School educator and football coach, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Allen and Nolan, daughters Alana “Kau‘i” Faagai and Nalani Espinda, brother Herbert, sister Kaleinani Larsen, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. March 22 at Punahou High School’s Thurston Memorial Chapel. Service at noon. Private inurnment. Aloha attire.
