Dr. Marlin Spike Werner, 87, of Papaikou, Hawaii, a retired private-practice audiologist and consultant for hearing aid dispensers, private physicians and hospitals on Hawaii island, died at home. He was born in Portland, Maine. He is survived by son Leo Hart, daughters Marlene Kaim and Catherine Boder, and numerous grandchildren. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Monday at Hilo Coast United Church of Christ, Honomu. Inurnment in Carlinville, Ill. Donations suggested to the Salvation Army Hilo branch.
