Elva Joel Stallard, 82, of Fernley, Nev., formerly of Kailua, an auto machinist and owner of Precision Motor Rebuilders, and a Navy veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Reno, Nev. He was born in Clinchco, Va. He is survived by wife Rachel M.; sons Robert L. and James A.; daughters Joanna L. Stallard-Peard, Lori A. Baker and Tina M. DuVoisin; and brother Frank A. Services: 5 p.m. Sunday at Kalama Beach Club, Kailua. Celebration of life and potluck to follow. Casual attire. Flowers, seeds or plants welcome.
