Emily Fusae "Em" Kudo, 77, of Kailua-Kona, a medical teacher at the University of Southern California Medical Center and a cancer researcher, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Keauhou, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Takashi; brothers Baron, Earl and Donald Sasaki; and sister Jane Sindiong. Private services.
