82Elizabeth Haweaokalani Desha Brown Waia'u, 90, of Hilo, a retired Hilo High School teacher, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Kaina Lee, Kaimi Ralph, Kaleo James and Keala Leopold; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday at Haili Congregational Church.
