74Herbert Isamu Kumano, 79, of Hilo, a retired laboratory technician for the University of Southern California and Glendale Community College, died in Pohai Malama. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Jane, daughter Annette Kong, son Henry, brother Thomas, sister Sumie Sueishi and two grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
