Patrick Leroy Paiva, 69, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a retired service truck driver for Hilo Coast ProcÂessing Co. and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by companion Lynette Yoshikawa; son Bryan; daughter Kristie; brothers Gerald, Michael and Peter; sisters Alice Nathaniel, Victoria De Luz, Theresa Matthews, Roxanne Arakaki and Susan Paiva; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Papaikou. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial: 11:30 a.m. at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
