Sunao Kadooka, 96, of Kainaliu, Hawaii, a retired tractor mower operator at Konawaena High School and retired coffee farmer, died in Life Care Center of Kona. He was also an Army veteran who served with the 100th Infantry Battalion and a recipient of two Bronze Stars and a Congressional Gold Medal. He was born in Keei, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Yoshiko, son Neal, daughters Hester Oka and Sandra Kadooka-Cowles, brother Larry and five grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Thursday at Kona Hongwanji in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
