Manuel "Sonny" Sabal, 90, of Ewa Beach, a retired Navy chief petty officer and salvage diver who served during World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars, died in Honolulu. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by daughter Marise Souza, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services.
