RICO PASCUA MANZANO
RICO PASCUA MANZANO MEMORIAL AND BURIAL SERVICE SATURDAY, MARCH 28, 2015 Rico Pascua Manzano, born on October 12, 1928 in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, died peacefully in his home in Honolulu on March 4, 2015. He was a retired Legal Analyst for the Department of Hawaiian Homelands and an attorney in the Philippines, serving as Senior Legal Officer for the Bureau of Lands and Special Counsel for the Office of the Solicitor General, Department of Justice. An alumnus of the University of the Philippines College of Law, he was a lifelong public servant and champion of civil rights and social justice. He was married to Anita Lachica Manzano, an educator, who died in January 2006. Rico is survived by daughter Helena ("Yvette"); sons Rick ("Jojo"), Rex (Delia Rodillas), and Raul; brothers Florencio and Elpidio; and granddaughter Dylan. Visitation 9:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Philomena Church, eulogy 10:25 a.m., mass, 11:15 a.m., burial 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
