Jack L. Dowd Sr., 82, of Aiea, a retired MiliÂlani High School teacher and a Navy veteran, died in the Queen’s Medical Center. He was born in Ottumwa, Iowa. He is survived by sons Jack Jr. and Glenn; sisters Coleen Edler, Joyce Bishop and Donna Dignin; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Private services.
