DR. FEUNG BOK LEE
DR. FEUNG BOK LEE Dr. Feung Bok Lee passed away on March 19, 2015 at the age of 94. Dr. Lee was born in Walla Walla, Washington and grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. After graduating from Oregon State University in 1942, Dr. Lee served as a captain in the United States Army in China. Following his discharge from the military, Dr. Lee attended Harvard Medical School. He established his medical practice in Boston, Massachusetts. Beloved by his patients, Dr. Lee specialized in surgery and played a unique role in the care of the Chinese community in Boston. He moved to Honolulu after retiring. Dr. Lee married his college sweetheart, Mew Sin Hee, of Waimea, Kauai, with whom he raised three children. He is survived by his three children, Patricia Lee-Robinson of Honolulu (and her husband James Robinson, son Michael and daughter-in-law Melissa), Janice Lee of New York City (and her husband Stuart Shapiro and children Lily Bo, Samuel, Kenneth and Mark), and Kenneth Lee of Pittsburgh (and his wife Sharon and children Veronica, Carianne and Emma). In addition he is survived by his sister, Martha Lee Tseng, of Palo Alto, California, and by 26 nephews and nieces. Private services.
