Thomas Homade Nakanishi, 77, of Volcano, Hawaii, an Army veteran and a retired General Motors -- DELCO Electronics Division electrical engineer in Kokomo, Ind., died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Wailuku. He is survived by wife Beatrice S.; sons Darren D. and Duane D.; daughter Dana D.; brother Peter H.; sisters Bernadette M. Nakanishi, Veronica T. Tanikawa, Thelma T. Miyashiro and Aileen S. Schroffner; and four grandchildren. Private services.
