Carl Kazuo Obasa, 82, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, a retired U.S. Postal Service carrier and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Pohai Malama. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by brother Yoshio and sisters Sueko Saito, Sumie Yamanishi, Sue Kojima, Yoshie Wakida and Masue Yogi. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
