78Laverne Jean Teves, 81, of Wailuku, a retired Maui Land & Pineapple Co. manager, died in Hale Makua, Kahului. She was born in Lihue. She is survived by sons John J., Scott and John E.; daughters Deborah and Michelle; brother Robert R. Ebinger; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
