76Kelly Shofu "Braddah K" Asato, 60, of Hilo, a retired automotive diesel mechanic for the state Department of Transportation Highways Division, died at home. He was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Dawn K., son Kellen, daughters Arly "Kahale" and Kira, mother Shizue, sister Blossom Lee, brothers Tracy and Mack, and numerous hanai sons, hanai daughters and grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Oct. 13 at Laupahoehoe Congregational Church. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
