Alfredo Tobias, 91, of Keauhou Mauka, Hawaii, a bartender, kitchen steward and purchasing agent for Kona Village Resort, Kealakehe Elementary School custodian and hotel security officer, died at home. He also was an Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by wife Myrna; daughters Karen Palakiko, Sheila Tobias and Lora Silva; brother Ernesto Sarroca; sister Mary Cantere; hanai brothers Anthony Sarroca and Brigido, Adolfo and Jorge Fullo; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Oct. 15 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Holualoa. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
