77Bartolomia Ramos Macaraeg, 87, of Hilo, a retired elementary school teacher, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in San Manuel, Pangasinan, Philippine. She is survived by sons Oscar, Alex and Roland; daughters Evangeline Umipig, Thelma M. Young, Fe Macadamia, Susan Rivera and Glynnis and Ruby R.G. Macaraeg; caregiver Relly Cabuyadao; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
