John A. "Tanoitiaola" Williams, 72, of Waianae, a retired state Department of Education and University of Hawaii custodian, died in Honolulu. He was born in Magiagi, Samoa. He is survived by wife Talanoa K.; sons Manly, Michael and Lucky; daughters Nancy Marsom, Babe Williams and Betty Tautalatasi; brothers Lupematasila F., Faatupunuu J., Paloa L., Leao H., Lagalaga M., Kelly and Tony; sisters Tuulaupua M. Otemai, Violet Flannery and Singer Moore; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
