He was a sergeant for Delta Company in the Army National Guard and a cook for Waikiki Resort Hotel. He is survived by spouse, Myrna Bayani Von Oelhoffen; sons, Jason Von Oelhoffen, Dawson (Shanna) Von Oelhoffen, Jr., Marcus (Yumi) Von Oelhoffen; daughter, Lauren Michelle Kanoe Onapua (Kaipo) Jardine; brother, Kimo "Jr" Von Oelhoffen; sister, Olani Matthias Von Oelhoffen; 6 grandchildren. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Monday (Oct. 19) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Memorial service 7:00 p.m.
