78James "Jimmy" Kon, 88, of Honolulu died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Teodoro Rubio; daughters Dora E. "Mele" Ha'o, Stephanie K. Kon, Lovette "Leimomi" Suganuma, Yvonne C. Perkins and Noberta A. Rowe; brothers Clarence, Harry and Eugene; sisters Elizabeth Balacon, Pearl Sumida and Violet Almarza; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
