MARIAN C. FANG August 17, 1925 - October 1, 2015 Marian Ching Fang of Encinitas died October 1, 2015 at the age of 90. Marian was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and wife of Dr. Harry C.H. Fang, a Professor of Neurology at the University of Southern  California who preceded her in death in 1999. Marian was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. After attending St. Andrews Priory, she graduated from the University of Hawaii with a B.S. degree and received a M.S. at the University of Pennsylvania. Marian taught science in Florida and Wilmette, Illinois, then fell in love with Harry, raising her four children, Farrell, Ferric, Forrest, and Fernette. In Harry, she found the love of her life. Marian and Harry enjoyed their family, good friends, the arts, travel, and helping with charitable causes. In addition to their four children, Marian had six grandchildren (Lily and Ben Fang, Jamieson and William Sheffield, Krister and Karina Eide) and three great-grandchildren (James, Cora, and John Sheffield).
