Melva Nawahinekuipuanohu Estoy, 82, of Ocean View, Hawaii, a macadamia nut and coffee farmer, died in Kau Hospital. She was born in South Kona, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Peter Jr., John, Shannon and Tony; daughters Bernadette Shimamoto, Emily Estoy-Keka, Melva Estoy-Moreira and Valeryne Estoy; brother Curtis Spencer; sisters Ruby Isaacs and Gladys Liborio; hanai brothers Elmo and George Lincoln, John Keala and Sam Ahia; hanai sisters Aloha Ruddle, Ku'ualoha Ching, Vickie Mamac, Nancietta Haalilio, Millie Naihe and Lavender Meno; 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Oct. 24 at Lanakila Congregational Church, Kainaliu. Services: 9:30 a.m. Private burial. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
