Retired teacher and football coach at Waianae High School and Nanakuli High and Intermediate School. Lay leader at Waianae United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Jane Englar. He is survived by sons, Richard (Susan) Englar, Jr., Michael (Ceanne) Englar; daughter, Faye (Kalani) Meyers; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation 5:30 p.m., Tuesday (Oct. 20) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Memorial service 6:30 p.m. Casual attire.
