Sept. 26, 2015 Alfred Tamayo, 86, of Waipahu, a U.S. Postal Service Motor Vehicle Services driver and a retired Army sergeant first class, died in Waipahu. He was born in Kahuku. He is survived by wife Rachel S.; sons John, Skip and Eric; brother Roque; sister Bibiana Ming; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire.
