Meleane Lu'uga Leota, 59, of Waipahu, a homemaker, died in the Queen's Medical Center West. She was born in American Samoa. She is survived by husband Iakopo; sons Joshua, Iakopo Jr., Jeremiah and Jericho; daughter Jamel; parents the Rev. Lu'uga and Lila Vailu'u; brothers Kilisi, Lu'uga Jr., Ueta, Monogi and Peni Vailu'u, Kise and Dr. L. Fiatoa, Solomona Solomona and Harry Akau Jr.; sisters Vasati Fiatoa, Tepora Vailu'u, Rowena Peseti, Kanani DeCaires, Kathrine and Adaline Akau, Joann Mareko and Letia Salave'a; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Thursday at Waipahu United Church of Christ, 94-330 Mokuola St. Services: 6 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Oct. 24 at the church. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 1:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
