ALEXANDER FELIX 87 years young of Kailua, Hawaii, passed peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Alex was born in Honolulu on November 11, 1927 to Frank Felix and Odelia Pregana. He married Maureen Fraine in Honolulu in 1953. He retired from Hawaiian Tel as a communications consultant in 1988. Next to his wife, music and entertaining was his passion in life. He played in many bands providing local music for friends, family and acquintenances. Alex is predeceased by his wife, Maureen, sisters Agnes Rodrigues and Nora Gibson, brother Frank Rosa and son Brian Felix. He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Nellie) Felix of Kailua-Kona, Jeffrey (Nancy) Felix of Mesquite, Texas, Troy Felix of Grapevine, Texas and daughter, Denise (Buck) Degener of Kailua, grand-daughters Kirsten, Haley, Allison, Elise, Nicole, Anna, Dallas and Courtney. Friends and Family are invited to Alex's memorial service Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Vianney, 920 Keolu Drive, Kailua, Hawaii 96734.
