Richard Kaihua Bowers, 68, of Ewa Beach, a retired state Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children nutritionist aide, Hawaii State Hospital paramedic assistant and an Army veteran, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Sacramento, Calif. He is survived by son Leland, daughter Kehaulani and three grandchildren. Celebration of life: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
