Lorraine Violet Wood, 79, of Lansing, Mich., an Army veteran, a St. Lawrence Hospital nurse's aide, a Meijers Thrifty Acres store secretary and De Lima's Plumbing office assistant, died in Lansing. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Eldon L. Jr., Ronald, Ricky, Steven and Andrew; daughters Lehua Beamon and Leilani Wood Fogg; brother Walter Armaral; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Homelani Memorial Park, section 7. Aloha attire.
