William Kalua Hawelu Jr., 87, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, an Army veteran who served in the Korean War and recipient of two Bronze Stars, died in Dela Cruz Adult Foster Home. He was born in Kurtistown, Hawaii. He is survived by sister Susie Houston and brother Gaboel. Private services.
