Newton Kennedy Pratt, 93, of Honolulu, a fire protection engineer and a Coast Guard veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Framingham, Mass. He is survived by wife Lucille "Taps"; son Seth; daughters Kathy Somers, Peggy Seaman and Jane Gary; stepsons Frank and Robert Miller; stepdaughters Barbara Elm, and Anne and Judy Miller; sister Jean Sanborn; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at Arcadia Retirement Residence, 1434 Punahou St. Aloha attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Central Union Church or Arcadia Foundation.
