Clayton Devereux Tremaine Sr., 76, of Waikoloa, Hawaii, a Pohokala Ranch foreman and a Navy veteran, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Barbara; sons Clayton Jr. and Champ; daughters Shaula Tualaulelei and Shaurell Tremaine; brothers Grant and Orlo Vedder, Gordon and Douglas Tremaine, and David Jr., Arthur and Steven Palama; sister Iwalani Leanio; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: noon Dec. 12 at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
