Toshio Akiyama, 92, of Honolulu, a self-employed general contractor doing business as Tropical Home Builders and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Mitsue Toyama; son Wade T.; daughter Lynn E. Rask; brother Sueto; sisters Irene A. Fujimoto, Ethel S. Hirokani and Myra M. Takasaki; and four grandchildren. Private services.
