77Mitsuru "Daisy" Shimooka, 90, of Hilo died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Wood Valley, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Tadato; son Clyde; daughters Caren Sato and Janice Nagata; brothers Lincoln and Arthur Yoshida; sisters Violet Teramoto, Velma Yoshida and Sarah Morimoto; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
