73Evelyn Leilani Kaiawe, 67, of Kailua-Kona, a woodworker for Roy Lambrecht, ukulele maker and gardener, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in North Kohala, Hawaii. She is survived by daughters Carolyn Carter, Lani Sinclair and Ashley Kaiawe; sons Thomas and Kimo Wong; sisters Elizabeth Freitas and Jane Kaiawe; brother Thomas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kona Stake Center, Kailua-Kona. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park, Holualoa.
