Gordon Dean DeRoos, 82, of Princeville, Kauai, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, and his wife, Neva Mae DeRoos, 82, a homemaker and a registered nurse, died at home. He was born in O'Brien County, Iowa. She was born in Baker Township, Iowa. They are survived by daughter Deborah, sons Ricky and Steven, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Neva is also survived by sister Beulah Ahrenstorff. Private services. No flowers. Donations suggested to Kauai Hospice.
