75Helen O. Tanaka, 92, of Honolulu, a retired Department of Education secretary, died in Honolulu. She was born in Wahiawa. She is survived by daughter Kathleen Shigenaga, sisters Margaret Nosse and Gladys Aoki and a grandchild. Private services.
